I don’t know WHAT was up with the video in the last entry. Sometimes my voice is there, sometimes it is not. Check it out on my photobucket, it should work properly there. Not that it is that exciting, but… yeah.

This evening Lisa and Matt came over and we went out to dinner. We went to the local italian place, San Remo’s. Very yummy. I had gnocchi marinara and IT WASN’T BLAND, the sauce actually had some flavour and spice. It was amazing, compared to what it normally is. Made me smile.

I also smiled a lot because (for at least 15-20 minutes?) Michael Jackson was the topic of conversation. That always makes me massively happy. I had one of my MJ shirts on under my sweater and it just made me feel even more snuggly. Lovely.

And I got birthday gifts of yay! Wii Fit Plus, and a big toy monkey. He is green and his name is Allison. I love that for my 25th birthday I got 2 awesome stuffed animal toys.

The cake I made the other day was dessert. It is SO MUCH BETTER when at room temp. Much less playdoughy. Very much enjoyed by our guests, so that made me smiley. I made it because they were coming over, and that way it wouldn’t be just Jake and I eating a cake. No point making a cake for 2 people.

I am not sure why I am a vest, but Jake says I am so I guess I am.

Meet Allison! That name is going to crack me up for quite a while. But it’s fitting, yes? Even if Allison is a man-monkey.

*edit* He’s dancing! Like Michael Jackson! Or maybe his hand just happened to fall there and I didn’t notice until the picture was uploaded and I’m lazy. I’d rather think I have a fan-monkey, always room for more fans around here.

I want to see pictures of Allison. *glee* Mmmm… gnocchi.

Gorgeous and very naughty Allison. With a sly smile. Believe it or not, I still cannot hear a thing on your video. And yes, i have turned the speakers to full and also turned up the volume on the video. No sound at all. *sulks*

ryn: nah, the airbag didn’t actually blow, but the airbag warning light came on, so i was paranoid it was going to randomly blow 😛 haha yeah you definitely have an american accent!! i guess it depends who it is, where they’re from, how well they know you etc. cause i haven’t spoken to you lots before, you def have an american accent to me now! slight, but its there :). but i cant hear any aussie!

ryn: Singing instruments! I’m listening to your cd now and it’s the first time the dogs or the husbie has heard it. The dogs love it, the different instruments give their ears exercise. It’s funny how I never heard You’re the Inspiration around the place until after we married (which for some reason came out as “curried” must be hungry)
