Giant robed baby
Grumble grumble… still haven’t been able to get the new ash pics up on photobucket… I have new ones that aren’t just her in her giant robe. I have her feeding my dad cheerios. it’s adorable!
Ashley and Dad bond a little more each day. Yesterday she was happy to sit next to him, have him read her a book, and feed him cheerios. Today she is happy to sit on him and actually kind of hugged him before bed. She is adorable and I know it makes Dad so very happy.
We haven’t been doing much. On Monday we went for a bit of a walk and then sat at a bench and watched the cars. Ash LOVED that. She even loved when it started raining and being really windy, she was laughing the whole walk home.
Today’s excitement was dinner at Maggie McFly’s. Ash got up ridiculously early this morning (6 instead of after 7) and had her only nap at 10 (while in the babyhawk on my back, the only way I could get the dishes done) so she was exhausted by dinner time. She cried the whole car ride, and I thought I was going to have to wait/eat in the car with a fussy baby. Nope, she was great at the restaurant, thankfully! She seems to hate her high chair lately too, so maybe she just didn’t like being restricted. She had a great time looking out the window, staring at all the people around us, kicking her leg up onto the table… so cute. She even happily sat in the restaurant’s high chair while I ate. (she ate dinner at home before we left, so thankfully I didn’t have to deal with trying to feed her while out.)
In other, kind of random news, the house across the street is for sale, for what seems like a bargain for around here. Lisa has always called it her dream house so I told her she better hurry up with winning the lottery so she can buy it. The real estate sign only went up in the front yard this afternoon but she might have to hurry! I want there to be an open house so we can go look inside, the pictures on the website look purdy.
We took down the bathroom gate when Dad arrived on Friday, so Ashley keeps running in there and clapping her hands excitedly because she’s in there! It is so adorable. She is pretty good at understanding that if the door is closed, that means don’t go in, because the door doesn’t shut right, so if she wanted to she could just push it and it would open.
Nothing else to ramble about. Which is a pity because I’m in a rambly mood. I rambled for 15 minutes earlier about snow.
It is so hard to get a picture of a kid that won’t stop moving!
Awwww bless her!!! Lee Mee xXx

RYN: It’s also nice because if I get it, I’ll be able to cross a thing off my list. The number 1 thing no less!
