Fridge-beret – Jaunty AND cold!*

My hand smell delicious, I want to eat them. I have no idea how they have retained the scent of dinner/lunch, but I won’t complain at all. Best turkey burger I have ever had. Probably the best burger I have ever had. I almost started crying when I couldn’t finish it, it was that good. Although, I was on the verge all meal because right before we were to Ruby Tuesday’s, we went to FYE to see if they had ANYTHING MJ (they didn’t, of course, and if they did it would’ve been the things I already have) and they were playing Man In The Mirror and it is so rare to go to a store that is playing MJ (well, not now, but it used to be) and it made me sadness.

This morning, Jake’s mum Lisa came over and we went and got stuff squared away at the bank. Then we came back here and showed her the Wii Fit. She was VERY HAPPY when it gave her her Wii Fit age, of 45. And she found the secret brownies hidden in the bag of mail rather quickly, and that also made her very happy. I like visits from family. We would’ve seen Jake’s stepdad Matt as well, but I went off to the post office when Lisa called him to see if he was going to stop by, and I didn’t find out either way when I got back. And then she left, so I assumed that meant he wasn’t showing up, so we went to the laundromat. And got a call on the way asking where we were. Pouty.

Got all our clothes cleaned, headed to the mall. Had an hour before the movie, so we wandered around looking for clothes for me. Went to Old Navy, because the bright colours were what I wanted. The entire place reeked of plastic, like toys fresh out of the box. Does that place always smell like that? It’s also very overwhelming and borderline claustrophobic, so I got nothing. We were going to just have Subway for our eats but we had a lot of time so we went to Ruby Tuesday’s. Mmm.

When we were at the laundromat, a thing came up on the tv about the new Transformers movie, and after a few minutes Jake asked if that was what we were going to see today. Took him long enough to work it out! heh. Was a pretty good movie. I have no intentions of seeing it again though. I know Jake will buy it and watch it and I’ll have to be in the same room while he watches it, but I’ve seen it now. Don’t need to again. Was good though, so that’s good.

We groceried it up and now we are relaxing. I should probably have a shower, I am very sticky from my day of doing hot things. It was very humid in here this morning when I was demonstrating things on the Wii Fit, and then I went to the post office so fast I was almost running (I wanted to run, but my shoes would’ve fallen off if I did) and laundering is always a sweaty affair…

I just purchased a few albums on amazon… and an (I want to call it a cookie cutter, I keep calling it is, always do. Just coz it is for cookies..) ‘icecream’ scoop to bam it up so I can get free shipping. I need something like that, make my cookies the right sizes. I always end up with ones the size of my outstretched hand. Which is silly, a lot of the time.
