Flarf!!

This is the view out our ground-level door. I love how the trees look so pretty even though they have nothing on them.

Jake is watching Blades of Glory right now. Because I put it on while he was on the computer. Tis amusing. Not as good as Semi-Pro, but still an awesome amusing Will-Ferrell-sports-type movie. I was massively amused to discover Craig T Nelson is in it… he’s in everything we watch lately.

There is a bush outside, at the entrance to the parking lot. It is reindeer shaped. I noticed it early this year when we came back from visiting my home for christmas. He finally looks like he should, he has a red nose and is surrounded by trees with decorations. I really must get a picture. It normally looks so odd but now that it is holiday time again it makes sense.

I keep forgetting that I need to get a needle and thread. My lovely fluffy stripey socks have too many holes in them now, so once I have some way of preventing them from unravelling like mad, I’m going to turn them into… arm-socks is probably the more accurate name. They won’t be fingerless gloves but they will have a thumb hole (that has been caused by my heels.) The awesome part is, they will still reach my elbows. And be amazingly soft and comfy. I’m really looking forward to "destroying" these socks. I’m normally sad when one of my lovely pairs gets holey, but I have another pair of these waiting for their turn.

Dexter is on in 5 minutes!

Jenn started playing Farmville last night. It’s nice, there is someone to play with now. Even though I have many people added as neighbours, and Jake plays (and had been playing for quite a while by the time I started), it’s just more fun to play with a Jenn. Like when we would play pokemon together. I seem to remember sitting on the lounge room floor back home, trading pokemon thanks to Natey’s cable to connect the gameboys.

Wow, that was a quick 5 minutes!
