False sense of down

I woke up to snow this morning, but not to plows like Jake did. So that was goodness. Twas a good few inches we had to wipe off the car, but I was glad for it because I needed something to help get rid of all the dirt on the windows. And the ice at the bottom of the windshield cracked so we can make the wipers go down again. Yay.

I didn’t write yesterday because I fell asleep on the couch watching House. The couch is so amazingly comfy. Jake came and woke me up and dragged me to do our teeth and then to bed. It’s nice to have someone I can just hold onto and ‘nap’ as he walks us to our destination. When he woke me up I was dizzy, and remained that way until some time this afternoon. Just mild dizziness, but enough to not enjoy looking down.

Tonight for dinner, we used some of the Nando’s sauce that Claire had gifted us for christmas. So very awesome, and very similar to actually getting food from Nando’s, so that was extra awesome. We put the chicken in a ziplock bag about 1:30 to marinate with the sauce, and then Jake cooked it up on the griddle and we had it on these deliciously fresh buns with tomato and lettuce. I thought it would need sauce because they always appear saucy when we get them, but they make their own somehow. Awesome. Yummy. Such a great gift. Thank you Claire 🙂 We have so many yummy meals ahead of us.

Today we have been catching up on our recorded shows from when we were away. Our DVR is now 40% full, which was my goal for today. So that’s rather awesome, as we still have all evening if we want. Mmm…. tv. All the NCIS episodes just make me miss watching them with Natey, and then think "haha we’re ahead of him"

I washed my hair this evening and now it smells like Nando’s. Which is awesome, means I could be smelling tihs for days. Normally when we make something delicious smelling (or I bake brownies or something) I have to wash the smell out straight away. Mmm…. smell freedom.
