*expectant look*

I hate weekends when both days I have to get up early and go do stuff. Even if we get all of both afternoons to relax and do nothing, it feels like Jake and I don’t get any lazy relaxing time. It’s odd, and annoying.

Had to go to the laundromat today. Somehow we had much more clothes than normal to wash. I think it was all the hoodies. Winter clothes are rather annoying when you have to transport stuff to wash it. I think everyone else thought 10am on Sunday was the best time to go make stuff clean, it was pretty crowded. I think some people recognise us as much as I recognise them, the semi-familiar faces are always the ones who call me over so they can give us a dryer when we are waiting. Which is nice.

Once everything was clean/dry/folded, we went to the mall for lunch. Subway, of course, the only good thing to eat at the mall since Ruby Tuesday left. They were playing christmas music, which I just can’t stand. I know it is getting close, but man… I don’t like christmas music much even on the day. Santa was in the middle of the mall though, which I like. On the way out, he was just sitting there and waved at me, so I waved and smiled back. Jake thought it was adorable that I’d wave at Santa. I guess it didn’t hear me say "Hi Santa!!" because of the loud christmas music. heh

And then on the way to the car, the turtle on my keys that I bought in Oz last year (it’s cute and has a bell around it’s neck) broke off and I can’t fix it. That’s what I get for being ‘childish’ and greeting Santa, the ‘childish’ thing on my keys breaks off.

Our final stop for the day was Barnes & Noble, because I had gotten an email with a 40% off coupon for their new toys and games department. Found something cute for our little one to play with next year, hopefully she likes it. It’s pretty fun, in the simplest of ways. Plus, it was cheap, so score.

So even though we got home at 2:30, it just hasn’t felt like lots of relaxing time for us. Possibly because of the Bears game, and therefore me being on the computer, but… yeah. I don’t have an ending thought. Or a title. Jake won’t help, he just told me what I was doing.
