Everyone was right!

She’s a stubborn little one, we have to go back next week to try and get better images of her heart and such because she kept hiding. Also didn’t get any good face photos, but at one point I did see her take a gulp. She has a lovely looking spine and rib cage, heheh. That was all she wanted us to see. Big feet, long baby in general. And now I know the occasional pains I get in my lower belly are her stretching her feet, squishing my lower organs or cervix.

Mum and Lisa were brought in at the end for the ‘fun stuff’ as the lovely tech called it. As soon as the face appeared on the screen Lisa asked if it was a girl. Think the tech got a little freaked out by that, but everyone KNEW it was a girl.

I’m kind of glad she was being lazy and not moving around the way the tech wanted/needed, because this way we get to do this all again next week!

RYN: For decades US citizens — and presumably Canadian citizens as well — only had to show a driver’s license or a birth certificate to cross the border. I don’t think there are two other countries who have ever had such a good relationship at the border.
