Even stale, these bitches are good

I coudln’t help myself. I didn’t need to, but I really really wanted to. So I did. I made more brownie muffins. I have to find a giant transport/serving thing so that the majority of them go away tomorrow. But they are so fun to make. I mean look at them!! (my little measuring cup/dosing device is almost see-through because I was gesturing to Jake to include all the muffin pan in the photo. I told you he doesn’t alert me to when he’s taking the photo!!)

I wasn’t going to write today, but it seems it has become some sort of a habit. After 2 months of writing an entry every day, it just feels wrong to not write one! And I did do stuff. One day I won’t, and then there won’t be words.

One of my favourites did Photo 365 last year, which is taking a picture every day for the entire year. I figure I’ll give it a shot this year. Just for myself. Seems like a rather cool idea. So my pictures now have a place to live specifically for that.

My title is how I described my breakfast this morning. Because I was a bit naughty, and had gingerbread cookies for breakfast. I put it off too long, and I like to get the dishes from the night before washed before I eat, so I snacked on cookies. They are almost 2 weeks old, so I’m impressed that they are still awesomely edible. I made more though, for the xmas dinner thing tomorrow. Well, I made the dough, they will be baked off tomorrow morning. Fresh cookies, yum yum.

I was good and resisted eating the brownie batter until I was completely done. Oh man my hand was tasty! It was a little dry this time, but seemed to work out good. How am I not 200lb?

It’s been very windy today. At least I assume it has, because our screen door has been blowing around in the wind all day. The handle that would ‘latch’ it onto the door frame is completely broken and there is nothing I can do to fix it (at least… with things I have around the place) so it is free to blow. And blow it has. Most of the day it actually sounded like there was a goose out there or something. And maybe there was! But it seems more likely it was just wind.
