Enunciating for my fish

It’s really hard to take a picture of lights going alongside a street while cars are driving around. Mmm… luminaries.

This morning was… alright. On Farmville, we have christmas trees with many many presents that could be opened today. And I think everyone was trying to open their gifts at the same time. Ugh, it was so laggy. Yet I kept going. 100+ presents later… yargh. And then I wanted nothing to do with the computer after that! So I wa glad Jake was going to be finished work soon, as the restaurant was shutting at midday.

Went to the post office at some point, got another pile of christmas cards and a gift from my lovely family. The lady at the post office was amused that the package was in a container that called itself a "tough bag"

By 2pm, I was bored out of my mind. I had done every thing I could think of to do. I was sick of waiting for Jake. I had even had a nice rest on the kitchen floor with my face in the sun (I am part cat, don’t you know?). I went downstairs to find out when Jake would be done… and almost ran right into him. Ah.

We met up with many family peoples at 3pm at Chili’s. Jake’s mum Lisa, brother Nick and his wife Stacy, sister Kristen and her man Matt. Was nice to see everyone. And oh man, my food was sooo good. I had a ‘cajun chicken sandwich’ I think… and even though it promoted itself as SPICY it had no spice at all. Was still massively tasty. Disappeared too fast.

After eats, Lisa came back to our car because I had a bag of her stuff that she had left behind after thanksgiving. What she didn’t know, was that the bag also contained a sweet potato pie that I had baked the day before. She looked at it and thought it was cookies or something. I made the mistake of telling her exactly what it was while we were hugging. I got ear-squealed. It was a silly move on my part, but well worth it.

Since we’ve been home, we’ve done… pretty much nothing. We went outside once it was dark enough for pictures of lights to make sense. There are luminaries all the way down main street, it’s rather pretty. But because of cars and street lights, it would be impossible to capture the true pretty with a camera.

I’m rather amused that yesterday’s entry had secret messages in it, and no one noticed. Obviously I just kick ass.

My title is…. well… youtube is being a bit of a fail. This song. The album version, it is on the mixed cd that is currently in the car. It was Trogdor’s song, whenever I would sing it to him he would swim over to me and just keep swimming in place. But only if I sang the words loudly and clearly. If I didn’t, he would swim away to the other side of the bowl. So that song makes me miss my darling fishie. It’s right between John Lennon’s "Stand by Me" and MJ’s "One More Chance" so it a trio of missingness. Silly cd.

Merry christmas! Hope you all have a lovely day.
