Dressing-gown mermaid

I’m evil. I put a really crappy song in my head. And it won’t leave! So I must be evil. It’s the only explanation.

This afternoon I made some tomatoey chicken pasta sauce. My Dad’s recipe. Came out really good, I kinda wanted to just eat it like it was a thick tomato soup or something.

We had it for dinner, with whole grain spaghetti. We always have the whole grain stuff now, and I don’t mind it. But we don’t usually have spaghetti. So either the spaghetti is stronger-flavoured grainyness, or there was less sauce than what we normally get in a jar, but I was really disappointed with the result. Couldn’t eat it all. Was way too nutty. Thankfully we have 2 more containers of sauce, so next time I’ll go with regular sketti rather than the stuff that is a bit better for me. (I wanted to divide the amount of sauce in two, but our containers were eversoslightly too small for that. So 3 it was). I was all prepared for today’s entry to be a recipe entry, but I’m not 100% certain of the perfectness of the sauce so I don’t want to post it yet. Pretty sure I kicked ass though. Even if we didn’t have bay leaves. *grumbles about stupid stores and their lack of leaves that are bay*

That’s as far as I got yesterday. The reason photobucket was being weird was because the internet bammed. For the night. I hate when that happens.

These are my awesome arm socks. They have thumb and little finger holes, and they are OH SO FLUFFY WARM. They were my favourites socks, and then they got holes in the heel and so I chopped and fixed them and mmm, I love them so. Best part is, I actually had 2 pairs of these so I can have matching arms and legs if I so wish!

These are the awesome posters that my Jenn sent me for Christmas. I took the picture at such an angle because… well… I couldn’t be bothered getting up so I just span the chair around till I was facing them. Heh. Also, it makes it so you can’t tell how the posters looks crooked compared to the doorframes/ceiling, so I like that.

I have somehow cut up my mouth a bit. It’s more confusing that hurty, because I really have no idea how I did it.

Jake is watching old sports. I think he’s bored. Time to watch fun stuff! Yay for a DVR!
