Deliciously palatable oats

I wish I knew what I did with yesterday. I know from 4pm on, but that’s because I used Jake’s marvellous tool he calls his memory book. And I remember stealing the speakers from the computer and connecting them to my mp3 player so Jake could share my music. Rest of the day is bammed away though. I really should write an entry, even if I think it is too small to post. Then I can private-save and have words for tomorrow. I used to do that, why I don’t anymore is just… unknown.

Tomorrow we are getting visitors of the feline variety. Very looking forward to that. Nick and Stacy are so grateful that we will watch the cats, and we are so glad we get to have kitties for a week. It’s a winwin circle of yay. We’ve gotten most of the boring things out of the way already, like getting the laundry done. No more washing clothes! Well… for 2 weeks anyways. And I’ve been through most of the apartment and hidden things that can be knocked and broken and that kind of thing. Felt like baby-proofing a bit. Only there will be a lot more fur. I am so excited about this.

This morning the cable guy came over and replaced our cable box from a nice, dead one to an ugly, working one. Jake prefers this one, but it’s too solid-silver for me. But I like things to stay as they are, so maybe that’s all that’s speaking.

We’ve been watching silly movies, light hearted laughy type movies. Yesterday was Yes Man, which was pretty good. Today was Bedtime Stories which was rather cute.

Gotta help Jake with Zelda. The guides are weird and confusing but we shall beat them. Together! Plus, it’s a puzzle bit that he’s stuck on, and that’s where I shine.
