Crop-dusting the kitchen

The strangest thing happened last night. I was in bed and asleep before midnight. Yes I still slept till 1pm, but I woke up refreshed, with energy and wanting to move, rather than just… feeling like a blob.

It was so awesome.

And after 5 minutes on the computer I had had enough, so the kitchen got an awesome clean today. Twas weird that there were no dishes to do (because of the party yesterday, someone actually washed the dishes instead of leaving them for me! And they even re-washed the dishes I put back coz they were encrusted with flour!) but all the cupboards got wiped down, as did the walls and the fridge. And I checked through all the cereal boxes and transfered the bug-free stuff to airtight containers, and threw out the rest (and that was a lot!) I even got up on the counter to clean above the cupboards… but it was super-dusty and… the dust was kinda greasy too… so it wasn’t easy. And seeing that was after hours of work, I gave up.

And I rearranged the fridge and freezer. Matt put a raw chicken (wrapped and in a bag, but still!) on top of my pizza box… so that made em very unhappy. Thankfully there was still some hawaiian from yesterday’s pizza party, otherwise I would’ve had no dinner! And it was good dinner too mmm….

Ummm… I’m sleepy. Should set up the DVR for Craig… doubt I’ll be awake that long.

We didn’t do the reuben-lunch thing today, but it was all good coz I was busy with other things. On Friday Jake has a doctor’s appointment in the morning so we are going to have reuben-eating-lunch after that. 😀

Bed is calling. And this chair is yelling at me to leave. I kinda hope this lasts, I’m loving being ‘normal’
