Everything tastes like onions.

I don’t normally eat onions. Not because I don’t like them, I don’t care either way really. But I HATE cutting them. I can’t do it. I don’t just cry, I become physically incapable of opening my eyes. We always substitute scallions (spring onions) when they are called for.

Today, after doing laundry (gaaaaaah) and a trip to costco (mmm…stuff) we went to Chili’s for a lovely late lunch date. Even better, we had a gift card! Mmm.

So I had a lovely delicious burger (chicken sandwich… I don’t like that term. It’s hot, in a burger bun, it’s a fucking chicken BURGER. But maybe that’s just me) and it had slices of raw onion AND fried onion strips or such on top. And so now everything tastes of onion.

We also had a most amazing hot brownie with ice cream on top. Which we shared. Made it feel more like a ‘date’ rather than just ‘lunch with hubby’.

Assume that any day I don’t write, I do nothing.

I am so exhausted. But then I often am. The only reason I am awake enough to even write this entry is I had a mass load of candy. Woo, sugar!

I made Jake take this picture tonight. I was watching Zoolander, being all snuggly in Jake’s giant robe and using Allison the Man-Monkey as a pillow. I was almost asleep but then "Todd! Don’t you know I get bloated and farty with a foamy latte?!" made me laugh.

freakin’ LOVE zoolander. 🙂 also, onion cutting tip for you: if you turn on the rear burner of the stove and put the cutting board on the front burner, the heat will draw the onion fumes (or whatever it is that makes you cry) away from you. it works, i swear!

I have that problem with onions too! And I feel the effects for hours and hours, also my right ear makes this weird noisy/vibrating thing :|. Problem is, I LOVE onions

I love sharing deserts with the hubby when we go out. It saves money and makes it feel so much more romantic. I’m going to have to try donut’s suggestion. And…I hate cutting onions because my hands smell like onions for days, no matter how often I wash them.

I don’t eat onions as a general rule as they can cause the husband death of allergy unawesomeness. I have a chicken sandwich in the fridge, it is also a burger pretending it’s not. I had a strawberry cheesecake yesterday with the J-husbie, he ate the bits I hate… like the cruddy base and the cream. It was an awesome strawberry cheesecake that tasted more like strawberry mousse as cake. yum!

I feel like I’m more just coming to your OD to randomly yell things at you when I read my nort without considering the entry. like “I DON’T EAT ONIONS!!! THERE BE CHICKEN IN LEON-FRIDGE!!! I HAD CAKE, TWAS NICE!!!” type thing. Amusing.

actually that had me in hysterics, it is now my self-proclaimed job to yell randomly I turned to J and stated “NEW ENGLAND PLAY ON FIELD AND SUCK!!! I’M LEG NUDE!! THE COUCH HAS FEET!!!” explanation: J is watching NFL, I’m wearing a long shirt and my socks are nicely laid out on the couch so they must be there with a purpose eh?

ryn: oh and oh yeah, that entry was late in posting as it very nearly had photos included in it as well. Today I did nothing as is often the way on the second day of J-nightshift. I might take photos of all purchases over the last week, that would make one of those lovely filler entries *evil laugh*
