Cohesive manner of super-comfy.

This is the photo for March on the calendar in the lounge room. I love it so much. It makes me happy to see. I’m so proud of that photo. Especially because the flower was waaay above my head and I couldn’t see what I was taking a picture of.

Jake is on vacation. The Split Rail is shut for a week and a half while it gets renovated and such. Which is awesome, we get random holidays rather than holidays where everyone else is also on holidays and therefore places are packed.

Today we went to the laundromat and washed all our bedding – doona, pillows, mattress cover, everything. Very exciting way to start Jake’s time off. It was nice though, there was very few people there so we got to take many many dryers. I think we had 7? Stuff still took forever to dry (and the big red blanket is spread over the dinig table like a fort so it can dry properly – I got bored and impatient) but it was way quicker than it would have been if we did all that on the weekend.

On the way home we went to the mall. I ‘needed’ to get a pokemon from gamestop (Celebi) and while we were there we wandered through the kitchen section of Sears to get an idea of how much certain things cost. We have a little spree planned for next week and now we know roughly how much things cost in other places so that’s good.

And then I went and got a haircut. The lady just about ripped my hair out whenever she brushed through it (but that happens every time, I think it’s because I’m just getting a cheap trim so I’m not worth their care, they just want me out fast) and now my hair is so short and as Jake put it, it ends abruptly. It feels like it barely exists, but thankfully the mirror shows that there is still a lot left.

The one bad thing about having every bit of bedding beautifully fresh and clean is that I have to put it all back together in a cohesive manner of super-comfy. I wish that happened without any effort. Silly giant bed, make yourself!

Isn’t it funny how we complain about having to make a bed after machines have washed and dried the bedclothes. Can you imagine what it would have been like before machines? Same with washing dishes in a dishwasher with complaints about having to unload it…. Maybe one day there will be more machines to do the extra things. I have the same flower on my calendar next to my desk at work!!! Pretty

I washed my comforter last weekend, but it still smells funky. :o( That’s the only downfall of sleeping with three puppies. Well, that and the lack of space they leave in the bed. But…but…puppies! I’m needing a trim myself. Who knows when and if that will actually happen though. ~jo

such a pretty picture. I hate having to make the bed but I love fresh clean bed stuff. I bet your hair looks beautiful cause it always does and I can’t wait to see you on Monday.

There’s nothing like fresh, fluffy and sparkly-clean bedding! I swear to everything I sleep better.
