Cock and balls of doom!

Today feels like it has been waaay too long. I think it has been at least 2 days. But that would mean it is Sunday, which it is so not. Not for another 3.5 hours…

The laundromat was so gross today. It always feels really gross there (I try not to think about it, if I do… I know I would never go wash my clothes anywhere. Ew), but the attendant lady had her little baby there so when we showed up the entire place stank like a diaper. Exactly the kind of environment you want to wash your clothes in, isn’t it?

Once we were home and fed, we walked over to the park area where the carnival (I found out it is not a FAIR… it’s  a CARNIVAL. What’s the difference?) was being held. Due to the complete lack of signs anywhere, we didn’t know when it was on so we just assumed it was an all day thing. No. There was a sign at the entrance to the park saying it started at 6. Poot. So we went back at 6:30, got some yummy grub, said hi to a few people.

I love fried dough. And cotton candy. And sweet potato fries. Although now I feel ill and like I need to eat some real food, but it is 8:30 so it’s almost too late for real food now. Ooh there is going to be fireworks in half hour, wonder if we can see them from here? Might be too many trees. I really don’t want to go outside again so we’re not going to go see them from a good position. Plus, I’m not really interested in fireworks.

My cotton candy (or fairy floss, whatever you want to call it) smells faintly like grilled hot dogs. It’s kinda creepy, but kinda really delicious. At least it doesn’t smell like root beer, that stuff smells….. I don’t understand how that can be a flavour someone would want. Smells like odd mouthwash to me. Although I eat musk candy and Jake used to think it smelled like cologne or something.

My title is… umm… where we would have met people to see the fireworks, there is an obelisk with a cannon on either side. How else should I describe such a layout?
