Alchemist playboys

This morning, Ashley and I got up just before 9. However, the clock by the bed was slightly obscured so it looked like it was almost 10 when I woke. I was shocked by that, then it made much more sense once I saw the real time.

Last night, Jake couldn’t handle Ashley touching him while he was sleeping/trying to sleep, so he slept on the couch instead. Matty is working in Sydney again this week so I won’t have Jake in the bed with me until Thursday night. And then on Friday we will be driving, and sleeping at Nanna’s until maybe the 29th, and there we will have seperate single beds. So it will be a long time before we are a family bed again. I know Ash needs to sleep in her crib and blah blah blah. When we have the bed to ourselves, it is SO LOVELY and I don’t care.

Today I thought about going for a walk with Ash. We didn’t, but I thought about it!

I did gather a bunch of photos on a USB stick so now I have to take them to a place to get them printed out. This way I have photos to hand to people so they can see Ash progression and such, rather than having to get the laptop out which some people hate and which is really awkward (plus this way they only have to look at 100 photos rather than the potential thousands if viewed digitally).

Getting Ash to bed tonight SUCKED. She napped at 5, but she bumped her head at 6, so when she was acting tired and hungry a little before 8 I thought that made sense so we went to bed. 70 minutes later, I gave up, put her in the crib (sitting up) and went to the bathroom because she was showing no signs of tired. She started screaming, so Dad went in to try and calm her,  then Jake, and when Jake gave up after a minute or two, I went in. A few minutes on the boob and she was OUT. I guess she needed to scream-cry for 10 minutes. Made me feel guilty for making  her cry, and for also potentially waking up Natey who goes to work at 2am tomorrow and so was sleeping on the other side of the wall. But I warned her repeatedly that if she didn’t go to sleep I was going to put her in the crib, leave the room, and not come back until I wanted to.

Tomorrow is a playdate with Jenn and Elouise. We are going to the playground. Possibly multiple ones, who knows. It shall be FUN! Just the 4 of us. It has been a LONG time since we’ve done anything just us. The only reason Jake isn’t coming is because I don’t think we can fit 2 car seats  and an adult in the back seat of Dad’s car. So… yeah.

While I was digging photos off my hard drive, I got the notepad file of my new 101-in-1001 list and worked on that. I’m up to 6070 now, which is something. I made the start date as the day after we return home. Pity, meeting ODers is on my list and I’m meeting one next week and she won’t count towards that goal! Oh well.
