Aka a bunch of stuff
The past 2 nights, Ashley has gone to sleep at 11:30pm and not woken up until 5:30am! Do you have any idea how great that is? 2 nights in a row!!
This morning I went shopping with Dad and Matty (and Ashley of course). We went to Walmart for diapers and wipes (which Dad was lovely and bought for me even though I was prepared to use my gift cards) and then headed over to the mall for more fun things.
I got a haircut from a lovely man who I think was named Mark. Most people at this place give me a quick once around with the scissors because all I want is a trim, my hair is boring and one length, so it’s really easy. Mark took the time and did my hair nice and slowly, made me feel like I was getting my moneys worth. HE even chatted with me, and for once I had things to talk about – Ashley! Yay, something interesting to talk about!
After I got all nice and smooth-ended hair, we headed over to Old Navy where the boys got some clothes, then to Macy’s where I got some new bras, had some lunch, and left.
All in all, we were gone for almost 4 hours. Ashley was calm, didn’t need to be fed or changed the whole time… it was amazing. She’s really getting good at going out and about sometimes. I love it so much.
When we left, Jake was outside so we got to say goodbye to him. When we got back, he was also outside so we got to greet him again. When Matty and I went to the store-next-door, Jake was just heading inside so we got to see him once again. It was so weird that everytime we were outside, we saw Jake!
I have to stop writing, there’s a baby being adorable and smiley and drooly behind me. I want to look at that!
Ashley’s first time wearing a dress! When we came home on Saturday, there was a bag hanging on the door with this outfit in it. I assume it is from Barb, but I’m not sure. So very adorable. The headband only lasted until the picture was taken, she didn’t seem to like it and I don’t like head-things.
She’s getting so big!

She’s beautiful! And who doesn’t like sitting and chatting with an Australian? I love Australian accents. And British which I can distinguish the difference of but I think they are more similar than say comparing either to an American accent. I used to just sit and listen to my grandma (a brit) for hours. I sure do miss her 🙂

Shes a cutie alright! Gorgeous little dress too! Mind you, don’t blame her for not liking the head-thingy, I put something similar on my niece and it came straight off!! 😀
