New Mexico: Week Twenty Six

Good lord, I made it 6 months out here!

Today is a pretty slow day, in fact it’s been a pretty slow week so far. We have an event here today for one of the local congressmen, basically to get people on the same page about the special option vote next week for the beer/wine license.  After that I’m probably going to go home early so I can get some sleep… because my vacation begins tomorrow! 6am road trip to Santa Fe, 7am train ride to Albuquerque, bus trip to the airport, and then I fly to Denver at 10am, then Dallas at 1pm… arriving at 430 (stupid timezone)

All that is on my mind is getting there and having some fun… I miss all my Texas friends and I’m excited to see them! I still have not figured out what to do for Halloween yet, but I’m sure I’ll figure something out by the time it rolls around.

No one ever comments on my entries any more… I definitely DON’T feel the love.

Can the 15th please get here soon? I’m very anxious to get back to Wichita and really unwind.

The temperature went to hell this week as well, freezing rain and high winds yesterday, then the temp dropped to the upper 20’s last night, it’s in the 40’s now but I’m not prepared for this yet, I need to do some winter clothes shopping, which may have to wait till I get home – it’s warm in Dallas… I hate them
