Life Lately

 This will be pretty quick and to the point!

• Was fired from Houlihan’s mid August – Which was surprisingly okay with me, the week before I was let go I had gotten so upset at work that I did something I had never done there before: cry. When that happened I knew it was time to start looking elsewhere. Their reasoning for it was that I still knew all the codes to get into the system so I could comp coupons for other employees and myself. Surprisingly not bitter – I mean honestly, that place helped me pay off my debt and I made some pretty awesome friends, LIFE LONG friends during my time there. 
• Not even 2 days after that, I had a new job offer. I just started this week as the Lead Server/Manager at Prairie Star Restaurant at Meadowlark Hills Retirement Community – yes I work with the elderly, but its so much fun so far, plus I’m not relying on tips anymore so having a steady paycheck is nice going back to school.
• Oh yes school – it’s seriously kicking my ass, but in a good way. I’m holding on to a B in my Cultural Anthropology and Moral/Political Philosophy classes, and high A’s in my Spanish Comp and Grammar, and Hispanic American Civilization classes.
• Victor and I are only friends, he’s got too much on his plate and I do too – but oh my god, when we did hook up it was INTENSE, but friends we are, and I’m okay with that 🙂
• My roomie is a bitch.
• Life is good 🙂
