Gone :(

So today was the day.  We said our goodbyes this morning, well not goodbye our “see you later” you say.  I already miss you and it hasn’t even been 24 hours .  Last night we were up until 5am talking.  I wanted to soak in every last minute I had with you.  We talked about the future, and to me it seems clear. You and I are on the same page and it feels good.

I know we will only be apart temporarily, but it just seems so long and hard.  Everyone keeps reminding me that this is going to make our relationship stronger.  And this reminds me of that sermon from church talking about the need for a strong foundation.  The foundation is the most important part, because the stronger it is the less you have to rebuild from the storms that may come. 

I miss you and I am counting down the days until I can see you again…
