long weekend

Work gave us Thursday and Friday off. I had alone time Thursday.

Friday night we went out to a new place to eat. The place was awful. Gave the boyfriend and me food poisoning. Drinks were awful. Drinks were labeled under the ‘cocktails’ section. There was no alcohol in either of our drinks. Music was so loud that we couldn’t even have a conversation. Even our waitress complained to us about the music being too loud.

Saturday we got a hotel room. Did a little shopping. Never saw any fireworks go off, fell asleep around 10 pm.

Sunday we didn’t do much. Just drained….I never sleep well when staying in a hotel.

Today I’m off work. I’ve been laying in bed all day.
