I had a coworker ask me what language the UK speaks. I said ‘English’. She said, ‘No, what’s the foreign language they speak?’. I replied with: ‘English, considering England is part of the UK’. The lady had no idea England was in the UK. I shook my head. This is why I rarely talk to certain coworkers.
