easy week

I only worked 3 days this week, Mon, Tues, Fri. Had the 4th and 5th off cause work said they were holiday days. July 4 we went to Aaron’s parents around noon. Left around 830 pm. We usually shoot off fireworks at Aaron’s parents but it rained on and off all day, consistantly since 630 pm til just after 9 pm. The city had cancelled their firework show.

July 5 I didn’t do anything during the day. Slept on and off. Aaron had to work so I was glad to have the house to myself. While I was making tacos (a little after 5 pm) Aaron told me that Kevin was in town. Kevin wanted to know if we could meet for drinks. So we met him around 6 pm. We stayed at the bar til just after 9 pm. Then he came to our house, we watched the city fireworks.

I didn’t sleep well from Thurs into Friday. I went into work at 530 AM Friday (normally I go in at 7). I was so tired through out the day. A lot of people had taken Friday off to make a long weekend. I was glad I didn’t have to deal with anyone, not really (one lady that I get annoyed with purposely came to talk to me). I had to do the easiest, most boring job at work on Friday. So the day seemed long.

Aaron went to Sioux Falls and he’s gonna spend the weekend there. So last night I went to bed insanely early. When Aaron’s home I try to stay awake a little longer. I was in bed by 730 pm and fell asleep in 2 seconds. I woke up at 615 AM. Felt mostly refreshed. It’s a little before 830 now and I’m still in bed. I did get up to let the dogs out, feed them, and I had breakfast.

The dogs are being SO good right now. They usually are good…..but they are so calm this morning. Normally they have played with each other by now or barked at something. They have been cuddly in bed since I woke up.
