Good afternoon, Gentle Souls!

I am in a great mood! Today the rain has let up and frankly I can’t be in a better mood!

I had such a warm and intimate conversation with Alex on Sunday! It was just so nice!

He told me he placed his poetry CD in the mail on Saturday. At night he sent me a loving e-mail saying how nice our chat was and thanked me for it. He is going to call me on Saturday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am forever grateful for having Alexander in my life!

I am waiting for him to pop up momentarily so we can briefly say hello, kiss, and chat. I have to work today until 8PM. Today is also my parent’s 38th Wedding Anniversary. What is the glue that keeps couples together for so long?

As I read in the Idiots’ Guide to Marriage, a great marriage consists of :

G ood communication

R eal partnership (working together in the same team)

A doptability

T Team work (going back to R…real teamwork)

These qualities, coupled with old-fashioned understanding, forgiveness, tolerance,and honesty are the real virtues that keep a couple in a real long-lasting relationship and a great marriage.

The greatest trait in a good relationship is communication. You must learn to listen…really listen to what your mate is telling you. You must voice all your fears, concerns, and wants to your partner. Your partner is not a mind reader, so don’t assume he/she knows what’s on your mind. Speak up!

I am going to get up from this chair and get my bag ready for work.
