Interview at the Library

  Gentle Hearts:

It’s amazing the way life works out! How can a person know really what turns and passageways life destines him/her to walk through?  Who would have said that I’d live in Europe…me who used to say that I’d probably never visit Europe or even marry and live an interesting life!  I’m really mind-boggled!  Here I am a married woman that was born and raised in the East coast of America and now, unexpetedly moved with her husband to Europe where he was born and raised?    It’s really amazing!

Today I had my job interview at the Library across the road.  It went exceptionally well.  I was taken on a gour of the library by one of the Library Assistants then shown into the interviewing room where I was interviewed by the Library manager at the Library and the manager of the SummerTown Library.  They even gave me a shelving test.  I shelved the books correctly in less than ten minutes!  They’ll let me know by Friday if I got the job.

My job at the NHS Professionals is going exceptionally well as well.  I love it!  It is quite interesting and the project managers are really impressed with me and would like me and my colleaque to help train the other candidates who will sit in the panel.

Tomorrow I have to go to training at the NHS headquarters at nine O’clock AM.  They’ll be teaching me about life recusitation and back management training as well as Fire Prevention techniques.

I’ll be paid this coming Friday! This will be my first official pay-cheque in the United Kingdom.
