Ho-Hum!!!

Hurray for Easter!!!!

I am looking at a four day weekend! Tomorrow I shall take a vacation day. On Good Friday I am off until Easter Monday!!! Yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today I had a busy day too. Well, it wasn’t too busy, just a long day! My friend Ivonne called this morning.

She told me she was taking the day off. She told me to go ahead and take a vacation day tomorrow.

When I got in the office I had to stay downstairs at the adult department to relieve my other co-worker who had to go to lunch. The library was busy and all computers were full. These two men came up to me asking me if they could have a full hour!!! The rules are half an hour each! I told them our rules and they just leaned over the desk pleading with me to ‘break’ the rules!

I looked them straight in the eyes and shook my head, “I am sorry, but the rule is the rule! I am a tough cookie, I know…but if you aren’t like that then they walk all over you!!!

To my annoyance, my co-worker came an hour and a half LATE!!! She is always late! I finally got upstairs to my children’s department at 2:30PM.

Boy I am knackered…another British word 😀 I am going to try to relax. I will listen to my CD’s and get a manicure.
