Florence! The Cleaning Lady from Hell!
ARRRgggggH!
I can’t stand it!
Mom has this annoying cleaning lady that comes 2 times a week for $50.00! She cleans the entire house for us. The good thing is that I don’t have to clean. The bad and annoying thing is that she is much like Florence…the Jefferson’s maid who likes to bust George Jefferson’s chops!
She comes in around 8PM and immediately she storms into the room cracking jokes. You could be sleeping, trying to get dressed, whatever she comes in to crack a joke. Now, she in general is a very nice and good woman.
She is always bringing us gifts and all, but that doesn’t excuse her for constantly annoy me with all her humorous ‘chistes’ (jokes). I don’t know, maybe I am a bit cranky and I do admit that since I grew up alone until my brother was born in ’72 I had to be alone and had really noone to play with and grew up 9 years in my own company and I am used to having my own private thoughts and peace of mind. I am a very serious person and like to keep to myself. I do crack jokes, but at the appropriate times and I realize that not everyone loves to be humored.
Grrrrrrrrr!
I don’t mind one joke a day but this lady from the time she comes in until she finishes cleaning is constantly bothering you…asking frivilous questions that are not serious. She blurts out to my Mother just to get a laugh, “Celia, Mary told me that she is going to marry Alex!” Just to bust my chops! OOOOOOOOOH!
I hate that! “Mary told me, Celia, that she is going to elope with Alex!” OOOOOOOOOOOH!!! She just does this to bother me!!!
I give her this disgusted face and she just laughs.
I don’t like people that makes a joke out of everything. Don’t get me wrong. I do have a great sense of humor and love making a few light jokes myself, but I don’t do it every freeking 5 minutes and I certainly don’t bring up untrue statements about anyone.
She is here now with her sunny disposition and high pitch voice. Oh, and as soon as she comes in the house she gives off this atrocious noice “Pappppppppppppppitooo!!!” to my parrot regardless of the time it is. Doesn’t she know how annoying that is?
Oh, I got to get out of here!
I will call Ivonne my friend and go out to lunch with her.
I have got to get out of here!
ArrrrrrrrrrrrrgH!
