Dear Hearts
Today I was in a much better frame of mind.
I had a group of 18 students for Story Hour. Today’s topic was CATS! I read the ‘lil darlings three CAT books. They all loved the stories I chose. First I read them “Moonbeams on a Cat’s Ears”. Then I taught the kids the rhyme: “Three Little Kittens”. The children joined in as I read the story of : “Fat Cat on the Mat”. After the stories the children made some cats from white construction paper and they pasted crumbled peices of colored tissue paper over the outlines. The children each took home a cat.
I went to Mass at noon. It was very peaceful. I lit a candle for Elian Gonzalez. I also prayed for Alex and I.
I went to Dunkin Donuts and had some milk and croissants for lunch after church.
When I got back to the library I logged on the computer…since my boss would not come in until 3PM this afternoon! While I was browsing on line up popped Alex on ICQ. He was so happy to chat with me! He did not realize fully how much more excited I was! I love him so! He thanked me for my e-mail last night (yes! I couldn’t help myself) and the e-cards I have sent him.
He told me that he wasn’t feeling well and has been going to bed early once he got home from work. I wished him well. We spoke for 15 minutes then he had to shower!
I am so glad I am home now. I am tired too…like Alex.
I also need a warm bath and a long nap.
