A Nice Weekend!

Gentle Hearts,

As I fill the pages of my next chapter in Life I feel joy, thrill and a sense of exhiliration and anticipation towards the future!  A lot has happened in a year!  In a year I’ve changed so much and experienced the joy of love the sense of responsibility and honour that comes from marriage and the quest for change.  In a year I have married my soul mate from Oxford, England, had a lovely fairy-tale Wedding, coped with living with my parents, being a newlywed wife, worked at the Library full-time, decided with my husband the best option for our future, organized a major move to another country with my husband in the midst of a row with my parents over the decision, survived a seven hour flight to England with my husband and have settled beautifully here in Oxford!  It’s been a year of changes and life-altering decisions and we’ve both made it unscathed!

Next week we’ll be celebrating our First Wedding Anniversary!  We’ll be celebrating our Civil Ceremony Wedding Anniversary quietly with Champagne and a nice quiet dinner.  Next weekend we are going strawberry picking on Saturday with my Father-in-Law and sister-in-Law and then we’ll possibly go out to a pub for a lovely, intimate dinner. Then for our Church Wedding Anniversary on August 8, 2005 there is talk of going on a boat ride down the Themes and Alex and I will be having a toast with champagne and exhange of gifts.

This has been a nice Weekend.  Today my other sisters-in-law came over and we went out for a walk.  My Sister-in-law Sam treated me to two magazines and my Sister-In-Law, Kim and her husband bought me a cute mug with images of cats from their trip to Devon.
