A nice weekend

Gentle Hearts,

A nice breeze goes by on this Sunday afternoon as I happily type this entry on the PC.  I am content!  My life is full and bountiful now.  I believe that it was our best decision ever as a husband and wife team to come live in Oxford. I feel that we’ve grown as a couple and have assumed a mature attitude with an air of responsibility.  We’ve become responsible for our happiness and well-being and have taken the bulls by the horn and moved here to Oxford as a couple to live our lives together in a responsible, sensible and fun manner.

This has been a nice Weekend indeed.  Yesterday the A-Team ( Tony, my Father-In-Law, Sam, my sister-in-law, Hubby and I) went to the Centre of Oxford on a shopping expidition.  I went to Marks & Spencers to see if I could get a pair of shoes, but the shoes on sale were gone and I couldn’t find a nice blouse my size; so I went across the rode to Evans…this lovely womens’ apparel store that caters to big, well-endowed women and bought myself a blouse for £8.   I also got a pair of comfortable shoes at Barretts.  They are comfortable and classy!

My parents are at Nilda’s in West Palm Beach, Florida.  They’re staying there until next Monday!  Nilda is my cousin, Dad’s neice who attended the Wedding last year and read the Litergy of the Word at our Ceremony along with her daughter, Isary.

I phoned them this afternoon and spoke with Mum for a little bit and told her to have fun with Dad.  This is the first time ever that both of them have taken a trip together in fourty-three years!  We used to go as a family every summer with my brother, John.  Now we two are married and have families of our own and have moved on with our busy lives.  This is my parents’ turn to have fun together without us children.  This is the time to re-discover themselves as a couple.  This is their time!

I’m going to have a siesta in a minute.  The A-Team had a nice meal this afternoon and I had a Wine Spritzer.  I am a bit sleepy now and it is time for a little siesta.  Tomorrow I go to work at nine O’clock in the morning until four PM.  I’m becoming a professional working girl!
