the more boys i meet, the more i love my dog

so pilot boy turned out to also be an ASS, just like pretty much every boy ever. our third date was good and we had sex, which wasn’t great in all honesty but wasn’t bad and i was thinking i would give it a shot…and then he texts me the day before our next date: 

"i have to tell you something because i’m feeling guilty, i lied about my age lol"
-lol? i have a feeling i won’t find this as funny, but how old are you?
"45 lol :)" (yes fucking lol smiley face ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?)
-…you are kidding, right?
"nope not kidding lol, i should have told you before. if i’m too oooold for you, i totally understand :P"
-yes, telling me before i slept with you would have been nice. and yes you are too old for me.

seriously. SERIOUSLY?!!! and he was already over my age limit in the first place (he said he was 39) and he knew that but i said it was just barely ok because he looks really young. AND we had this long conversation about how people from online have lied to us about their age before and it’s so deceiving and wrong and you can’t trust them!!! and then he purposefully waited until after i slept with him to tell me!!!

so i took about a week off from guys and on thursday i went out with a boy i didn’t think would be anything special but it was actually a really good date. we went to sakura garden for amazing sushi and then to coldstone for ice cream and he wouldn’t let me pay for anything and the conversation was really good. he was a lot more attractive than his pics, which was refreshing because i usually find guys less attractive in person. his name is dan and he’s 26. i feel like i’m robbing the cradle even though he’s older than me, it’s been so long since i dated a guy in his 20s. we’re hiking mason tomorrow so we’ll see. at the rate i’m going, he’s bound to either: eff up, or become completely obsessed with me while i quickly lose interest in him.

ugh boys. i swear mason is the only one worth loving.
