Unemployment -Ten Things

Hello Everyone:

Nothing much is going on with me lately.  I was approved for unemployment so I am ESTATIC! I think I spelled that right (I really do have a college degree) LOL!  Anyway, the extra money coming in gives me some slack on scrambling to find a job.  I have decided to write a list on 10 things unemployment makes you do/feel/ect.!

10.  Getting up late as hell for no reason.

 9.  Become addicted to Soap Operas that you previously called STUPID.

 8.  Talk on the phone to people you would NEVER talk to because now you are so bored and lonely.

 7. You  look forward to your errands the next day  like" I have to get up tomorrow because I have to go to the store"

 6. You feel the need to "explore" your own City like a tourist.

 5. You plan errands around your day time TV shows then realize you can’t go out because you will miss one.

 4. You realize that doing nothing all day makes you more tired than working.

 3. You wonder where all those people are who wanted to out during the work week, now that you finally can.

 2.  You move your heels and suits to the back of the closet and move up your tennis shoes and sweats.

 1.  You start to get complacent and thinking, "Collecting unemployment does not pay as bad as I thought."

But seriously, I am about to get on the ball because I don’t have any "extra" money and I like to get my nails done, go out twice a week (at least) and then on the weekend, shop, do dinner, movie, ect.  I am depleting my savings.  But, everything is good and the unemployment gives me leverage not to take any bullsh*t a$$ job for the sake of paying my bills.

Thanks for reading.  Talk to you all soon.  As always comments appreciated.

Yes, unemployment rocks. Until you realize that you’ve not stepped outside in over 48 hours.

Unemployment sucks. You need to get a job, ASAP. I know all of these feelings. If you aren’t careful, you’ll settle into a really nice comfort zone and then time will start to fly. Be cautious and beware of hanging out with people without day jobs. Ha ha!

Thanks for your comment. Yes, I guess sleeping at a stranger’s place is quite crazy. But I don’t care about dying. Regarding unemployment, I would like to tell you to hurry up and find another job… but also that you should enjoy it and do all the things you never can do when you work hard (well, maybe it’s not really worth watching TV… can’t you be more creative ; )
