Happy Valentine’s Day

Hello All:

Well ..I guess Happy Valentine’s Day is in order! So Happy V-Day to everyone!

I don’t really have anything to talk about really.  I DO think I am allergic to Valentine’s Day! Last year I was sick, I mean fever, no voice and everything.  Then, all of a sudden last night I started feeling like sh*t and today I still feel like sh*t!  Can I be allergic to Valentine’s Day?  I mean I feel feverish and my throat is very scratchy! UGH!

On a lighter note..Today is cool.  My mom gave me a sweet card and a leopard bra and panty set and a beautiful sterling silver bracelet and a bag full of candy.  She is really into holidays and has always gone all out whether it’s Christmas or Easter.  Yes, I still get Easter baskets! LOL! I feel blessed to have such a wonderful mother.  She is making Valentine’s dinner, which is steaks, baked potatoes and salad so dinner should be great! Great, another Valentine’s Day with the family! Then, when I get to work a co-worker had opened my office and put a Valentine’s Day balloon, candy and a card in here.  That was soo sweet of her!

This weekend was nice.  Friday I was tired from the week.  My new job is sooo crazy , I like it though no complaints!  Anyway, I went to sleep before 7:30! Steve was ringing my phone off the hook and then calling my cell phone.  Number 1- We are on bad terms so for him to be stalking me like we are cool is beyond me.  He CLEARLY got no response!

Saturday- I went to sorority meeting and came home and took a nap.  Anyway, Bert has been trying to date again but I have sort of been giving him the cold shoulder.  Anyway, he told me that he realized he was in the dog house and he wanted to come out and play ..if I would let him. I am NOT a buster but the statement was sort of cute and it did make me laugh.  He told me he had this even to go to on Saturday and he asked me would I please join him.  I did..It was very nice.  We talked a lot.  I am still trying to figure him out.  You know he is the king of “all talk no action” so the verdict is still out on him. I did enjoy the company and of course he was a complete gentleman.

Sunday- I taught my class.  They are so funny.  We made heart butterflies so they had a great time.  Then this cute little 4 year old in my class says to another kid.  “Dude, she’s hot!” Kids! It cracked the little girls up.  The little boy was like “ Ms. Secretlife78…D said you were hot!”  I couldn’t help but laugh.  Kids say the darnest things!

Jay called but I have not had a chance to emphasize to him ..Hell No on us getting back together.  He is sooo selfish! Yeah Right!  Sometimes I don’t feel this strongly about the situation but this week..I am not trying to hear his sh*t!
