Content and Optimistic

Hello Diary People:

Mother’s Day Weekend- My sister graduated from University of South Carolina with a Masters’ of Social Work. After the hooding ceremony (my family) me, mom, two sisters and aunt headed to Hilton Head for three days of relaxation and fun in the sun. It was wonderful. We hung out at the beach and pool, went shopping, ate and relaxed. It was a great vacation. We flooded my mother with gifts and took her and my aunt out for breakfast and dinner. They were an expensive duo but they had a ball! I love Hilton Head and I cannot wait to go back! I have not been since I was like in 8th or 9th grade but it will definitely not be that long next time. It was great.

House Update- I guess things are moving along. We anticipate my closing date to be the end of this month, which I still can’t believe. In fact, I will not believe it until it happens. I meet with my broker today to finalize loan options. I went by the house again and it confirmed I made the right decision. The house is beautiful. I will keep you all posted to see if dreams really do come true. I just have to pray and know that everything will work out for the best..It’s in God’s hands. Case closed.

**Anyone know the pros and cons of Interest Only Loans??? Let me know. Good idea..Bad idea

Men Update- Yeah Right..You know this will be easy! None..I talk to Steve..that’s it. Nothing worth discussing.

Work Update- Things are great. Softball season started. We won our 1st game because the other team didn’t show up. Whatever a win is a win! The job is cool, I just wish I made more money, but who doesn’t I guess.

Mood- Content and Optimistic!

Thanks for reading..That’s my time!

I can’t help with the loan question- not quite there yet. but I’ve heard wonderful things about Hilton head! i’d love to go someday. What will your sister do? I have a BSW and wonder if it’s worth getting the Master’s or not. I know MSW positions don’t pay jack up in the northeast.

Interest only loans are bullshit. You are never paying principal. That means you never really own anything. If the value of the property increases dramatically, you might do well. If it doesn’t, you have nothing to show for it. Then you are basically renting, but you get a tax break. I wouldn’t do it.
