Okay, I don’t really feel like going into details but what do you feel like the tone of the message below is? Do you think it is bitter or just someone telling it like it is? Let me know your thoughts.

Hi,

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt because you assured me you were working on your selfishness; that you didn’t get my text message or for some strange reason you were abducted by aliens and were unable to get to a phone. So this is my second AND final attempt of contacting you without you contacting me back. You said communication was important, so if you want to communicate with me, you can reach me on my cell..If not, It is what it is!

Well.. it is obnoxious, but truthfully, doesnt he deserve that? I have no problem with it.. but, u have to be prepared to either not get a response, or get a nasty one…. if you are ok with that.. send it

Well. This person is obviously torqued at you. The question you need to ask yourself and answer is, “Is this warranted based on your past with this person?” and “Is a continued relationship with this person something I want?” If the answer to the second question is yes, then you need to suck it up and talk. If not, sayonara. The tone is somewhat manipulative.

God, that’s EXACTLY what I should say to my…significant other. It doesn’t even feel like I have a boyfriend anymore. What’s the situation with you? Just drifting apart? Or some reason behind the rift?
