mock[ing] battlefield or (On War);

And here I see the mock battlefield—a little war;

little toy soldiers in their little barracks;

little territories; a little dirt on the tip of this

little soldier’s gun.

Little dugouts are made away

by shallow tracks made by little tanks

(I sit somewhere around).

And in the end you can’t help but feel,

a little bit,

that all war is just a little more than this.

Oh, here I see what little I know.
