This and That…. *pics*

Dear Diary,

The start of the new school year has kept me CRAZY busy this year!  I had about a week of presentations as new faculty and staff and then all faculty and staff returned just prior to the official start of school.

The start of school came and went and I remained so, so busy until today where I can finally breathe a bit.

In between the busy work days we did squeeze in a long weekend for Labor Day at the shore and then just this past weekend we had our annual four day weekend with family in the Adirondacks which was perfect!  I have lots of pics to share from that getaway!

I have some pics from the Reagan’s start of FIRST GRADE! (How is that even possible!?)

My cruise is just two weeks away now.  Since my work load is leveling out some I’m finding myself super excited for Venice and Greece!

I bought a new toy today!  I finally splurged on a DSLR camera.  It’s a lower end but should be an upgrade compared to what I’m use to.  It’s the Canon EOS Rebel T3 Black 12.2MP DSLR Camera, EF-S 18-55mm.  I was pushed to do this a bit due to loose metal shavings within the lens area of my current Fuji camera.  They get in the view of picture taking sometimes and it’s so frustrating!

Labor Day weekend was the last weekend the pool was open down where we stay at the shore.  One of the days there was a watermelon eating contest…

Reagan wasn’t really in it to race but he did appreciate the slice of watermelon!

We are back at the shore this coming weekend.  I’m thinking about suggesting to Reagan that we hit about 4 of the beach towns on Saturday and explore each of their little downtowns.  The high is only 60 something so it is a bit cool to just sit on the beach but walking each town and then some on the beach sounds fun.  I could also play with my new camera by photographing along the way.  Sunday is a bit warmer so maybe we’ll get in a good beach day then before heading back home.
