Our Easter *pictures* Part 1
Dear Diary,
Going back a week or so ago we made a quick visit to the Easter Bunny….
Here is the official bunny picture for this year…
The Bunny gave Reagan this mask. I took a picture along with Mr. Cottontail’s Farmer Market Scene…
We just returned to school / work after a really nice 4 day weekend. Four days at home felt so great! I spent some time tidying in the yard. I also did a lot of scrapbooking. I started and finished the Universal Studios project. I also layed out and made A LOT of progress on the Disneyland album. Friday I set Reagan up with some Easter crafts to work on. He colored a bunny mask with markers and he painted some little Easter ceramics…
While playing in the yard we began to set up Reagan’s playhouse for the Spring and Summer. He helped with some of the planting…
This little humming bird feeder is a new additon to his playhouse accessories this year…
Watering…
I still need to go over the playhouse with wood conditioner and Thompson’s sealer. I need to do this with our back deck on the house and the deck down at the beach camper, too. The wood always looks a lot nicer and much more fresh after that is done. You can start to see some Easter eggs sprinkled here and there. On Friday afternoon I set up an egg hunt for Reagan.
Reagan brought his bunny puppet from Nanny along for the hunt…
My sweet boys!
Just Woody!
And the Easter Bunny’s helper!
During the hunt…
Some playhouse decor detail….
A new feeder. We were excited to spot a Cardinal, a Robin, a Blue Jay and a Finch when we peeked out at the playhouse Saturday morning.
After the hunt!
He did a count to make sure he found them all…
The finished crafts from earlier in the day….
Saturday Mornning there was another hunt set up for Reagan. This time it was inside… A note from the Bunny…..
Getting Ready to start his indoor egg hunt after reading his note….
On Friday Reagan took all the accessories out of his fishtank and scrubbed them clean. He vaccuummed the rocks, cleaned the tank class and set it all back up again. I was proud of him for taking care of his pets. The bunny hid an egg floating in his tank…
This hunt was more challenging than the hunts in the past…
Found one in the carrot wreath in the mudroom….
A successful hunt!

The indoor egg hunt was filled with little animal pencil erasers. We added them to all of his pencils…

The new tenants upstairs include a 4 year old little girl. She hasn’t really been around due to some sort of custody issue. We haven’t met her yet. But, I wanted to give her a little something. A homemade card for her….
And a Cadbury Chocolate Bunny…
We’ve brought out the deck furniture… And I did a bit of planting in the corner planter on the deck….
Time to color eggs!
Using the egg spinner!
I’ll have to finish this in a part 2…
i loved easter egg hunts as a kid. 🙂 we would always use real eggs (after we dyed them) and never be able to find all of them. but it was outside, so im sure wild animal had a good meal. awesome decorations 🙂 i love the playhouse.
