More Venice *pics* (vacation entry #7)

Dear Diary, 

By the time I got off the ship, took the bus transfer the the hotel, checked in and then took the train back into Venice I think it was close to noon.

Venice was as beautiful as ever.  It really is so picturesque.  You cannot take a bad picture there!

I bought the water taxi pass for the Marsh Islands for the day which took a different route than the Grand Canal.  It was nice to get to see a different area….

This island ahead is a cemetery out toward the Marsh Islands from Venice….

A Glass Factory on the island.  Glass Artwork is what Murano is famous for….

There were some neat wall plaques as you walked along the canals…

Lots of glass beaded jewelry.   I purchased one Murano set on the ship and then pieced together another set together in browns here in Murano and then I added a bracelet with the last of my Euros when leaving Italy….

LOVE the wooden boats!

These window boxes with the glass flowers was probably my favorite detail in Murano….

Mmmmmm….. lunch this day was at a little pizza place in Murano….

There was a lighthouse near where I caught the boat from Murano to Burano….
