Disneyland Scrapbook *pics*
Dear Diary,
In the month"ish" since Spring Break I’ve been using a lot of my free time to tackle scrapping all of the pictures that I took. I think I’ve finished 6 books from the trip now. I have two more to complete for CA Adventure and Downtown Disney. Getting close! I wanted to share the Disneyland scrapbook.
Here’s the cover of the book….
First page…. entering the park and studying the map…
We spotted Goofy (my Dad’s favorite) right away. A lot of the supplies for this project came from scrapyourtrip.com.
Buzz Lightyear’s Astro Blasters! I keep an ongoing box of Disney scrap supplies. There were some stickers in it from when we were at Disneyland Hong Kong. I included them on this layout….
Riding the Matterhorn….
scrapyourtrip.com has an awesome selection of what I call hidden Mickey papers for what seems like a variety of countries. It’s a very Epcot line but I chose some that I thought would work with rides in CA. See the Mickeys?
I have a collection of vintage Disney poster stickers from our Disney World trip in 2007. I’ve printed some additional vintage posters from images online. This Matterhorn poster is one of them… LOVE anything vintage Disney!!
The submarine ride….
A close up of the sparkly paper that reminded me of coral….
Storybook Cruise….
Some cool vintage posters…
And I like this title courtesy of scrapyourtrip.com….
The Park Map Page….
It’s a Small World…
Another It’s a Small World layout…
A World of Laughter lyrics title….
Mad Hatter….
The Tea Cups and Alice…
Toon Town….
The Roger Rabbit ride…
Mickey’s House….
More of Mickey’s….<br />
Pluto pics at Mickey’s….
Mickey’s Movie Barn and Meeting Mickey….
Minnie’s House…
Donald!
Donald’s Boat….
Goofy’s house, car and gas station…
Chip and Dales tree house. I had these wooden acorns from Stampin’ Up that I thought were cute with this…
Ice Cream Ears…
More eats…
The Dumbo Ride…
Another vintage poster and I thought my Mickey button arrangements were clever….
King Arthur’s Carousel…. This is another hidden Mickey paper…
Can you see the little Mickey’s?
Sleeping Beauty’s Castle….
The Jungle Cruise…
This button is left over from when we visited the fabric and notion markets while in China…. Also, this picture shows the texture of the swiss dot solid papers. I stocked up on a lot of solid swiss dot as I started this project. I like the idea of polka dots when working on Disney….
More vintage posters…
The Tiki Room in Adventureland…
Tarzan’s Treehouse… There is another one of those stickers from Disneyland Hong Kong to the left of the Treehouse title…
There is a variety of shots here… New Orleans Square, Tom Sawyer’s Island, Crittr Country… I just went Disney with it…
Davy Crockett’s Canoes, The Sailing Ship Columbia, Mark Twain’s River Boat, and the Disneyland Railroad… This is a hidden Mickey paper, too, but I don’t think I took a close up…
Tomorrowland at dusk…
<div class="zoomPicturePreviewDiv”>
Reagan with his First Visit to Disneyland CA badge and balloons pre-parade on Main Street…
More memories… souvenir shopping, pin trading, sweets for the parade…
Parade Time…
Princesses during the parade….
Lion King and Peter Pan during the parade…
Mary Poppins and Aladdin…
And our time at my Aunt’s home (where we stayed over during our Disney days…
Disney scrapbooks are always a lot of fun. This was a big project but having the memories preserved like this means a lot to me.
Okay…. moving on…. Happy Tuesday!
Looks great!

What is the 10/6 on the Mad Hatter page for? Does it have meaning behind it? One of the vintage posters had Storybook Land on it.. we have a Storybook Land here in SD.. probably something very different though. https://www.facebook.com/storybookaberdeen I went there at least once as a child and I remember it being fun but that’s it.
