A notorious website, part 2

The other night it was much too late, and there was no way I was going to visit that website before bed. I know better, as the content of that site is bound to foment nightmares. But it isn’t just that site, it is any and everything to do with the bloodthirsty killer that is the focal point of the fear. Even the Wikipedia page about said killer gives me the creeps. And that is where I initially found the link to this site of notoriety, of all places. The Wiki page itself has some good information, including making mention of the estimated body count, as well as explaining the killer’s origin, reign of terror and a recent attempt at imprisonment.

So, I finally decided to go back to that site earlier today. The owner has yet to respond to the contribution I submitted, but that’s OK. I suppose it’s not the kind of thing that is really easy to comment on anyway. But there have been some more updates on the site since my last visit. And while the killer has been heavily reined in during the last few years, some lives are still occasionally taken. Should you so desire, you can spend hours combing thru all of the information available on this very well researched site. So much is available there and many have made contributions over the years. The only question for me that has been left unanswered is why this particular killer has been so very prolific. Now that I’ve gone back into that site and I’ve begun to read thru many of the pages, it has dawned on me that perhaps this site itself might actually hold some of the information I was seeking. As noted, I’ve been all over that site before, months ago, but I can’t say I have explored every page nor followed every link. So there is a good possibility that I may have missed something. I may not get an answer as to the slayer’s lethal prowess, but still, there may be answers to questions I have never consciously asked. I am thinking that the dream I had the other night was meant to lead me back to this site to keep searching. This was the dream with site owner handing me two crumbling scrolls that possibly contained something very important to me. The only thing that worries me is the source of the abject terror and overwhelming dread. What is it that I am so afraid of in my nightmares? Is it something from my past, or something that is yet to be? And why does it seem tied in with this sinister scene of horror which apparently has nothing at all to do with me or my life? At this point, it will be a while before I’ll ever get to visit the site of the killings and “meet the killer”. I will keep searching this site to look for clues in the mean time. Maybe another piece of the puzzle will present itself to me. I just hope that I am not overwhelmed by whatever might be revealed.
