Chillin’ on goin’

I wasn’t in the right frame of mind when I packed for our holiday. I was quite frazelled actually. I came home and threw all my stuff around violently, snapped at Sinjay, burst into tears while in the shower, and then collapsed into Sinjay’s arms while still wet, crying from the depths of my soul. I could barely breathe and I could barely speak, as I gasped "I’m … just …. not …. coping !"

He calmed me down and for the rest of the night I was in a zombie-like state. This of course means I didn’t bring nice clothes to go out to dinner in – hence the buying of the dresses yesterday; and I didn’t bring my triangle bikini top which is specially saved for our holidays and intimate swimming ; ) , and I only brought one bra. When Cherie and Sinjay found that out lol , they laughed and Cherie said "You really didn’t have a good packing experience did you Dee!" I was thinking ‘Oh you have NO idea…’ LOL.

Yesterday we chilled at home all day, and we watched a movie called Taken, which was a pretty amazing movie. And then we went out for dinner at Hog’s Breath. I felt all pretty in my new bubbly dress and brand new buckled heels ($20 down from 100). The actual dinner was boring because we seated in weird positions, and also because Troy’s girlfriend is a shit. She doesn’t like me and I don’t like her and as these things go we don’t look each others’ way and we don’t speak to each other. She is SUCH an idiot. But the actual food was delicious, as was my Midori Splice ; )

Afterwards we attempted to hang out at The Pier Bar but it was noisy and crowded… and well, in one sentence: I’m not into the clubbing scene and was in NO MOOD last night. We walked around trying to look for Jess & Rob but they kept moving from bar to bar. Eventually we gave up, left Louis and his mate Mitch to themselves, and we came home with Cherie. We watched another movie, we saw Forgetting Sarah Marshall. It was cute and funny.

I am worried about Louis in a way. I noticed that he was very keen on the idea of meeting with Jess & Rob. His eyes sparkled when Ben mentioned going over to Jess & Rob’s place. I don’t like that. The reason is that there is a REASON why Ben loooooves Jess oh so much, and it’s not because she’s his "beloved sister" as he proclaims. It’s because they do drugs together. They do E’s and coke. And if Louis is gonna get into that shit… I dunno, I’m extremely worried. He’s a good kid. Yeah sure, he’s been drinking since he was 14 and he does the green stuff occasionally – but the hard stuff ? Nup. I don’t agree. Anyhow….. they’re my thoughts.

Louis ended up crashing at Alisha’s last night. We’re all pretty happy lol. Alisha and Louis used to like each other in primary school, and they’ve been friends throughout highschool. From what I talked with her on Saturday night she seems like an absolutely lovely girl – just the kind of girl that Louis likes. He’s more of a relationship guy, he’s really not into the one-night thing and didn’t even have sex with his last girlfriend Jo whom he was with for a good 2 months ! And we all like Alisha and want them to get together hahaha. And she’s a gorgeous gorgeous girl, she is half Philippino and is very proud of her Asian heritage. She also seems quite traditional about relationships.

I messaged Rohan this morning but he might not even be putting on a BBQ after all. He says he’s flat broke but it would still be nice to catch up. I said I’d call him later, so we might drop in when we’re on our way to Port Douglas this afternoon.

At the moment we’re all getting read (well, except me because I’m already ready) to go over to Ben & Luke’s, to celebrate the good old Aussie Day there, with BBQ and swim. There’s HEAPS of cars sporting Aussie flags up here ! And there was this WHOLE SECTION of Aussie flag paraphernalia at the IGA ! You’d never see that in Brisbane. It’s pretty cool that everyone gets into the flags, even flag-printed CLOTHES ! lol. It’s pretty damn cool.

I am sooo looking forward to my holiday in Port Douglas. Can’t wait, can’t wait, can’t wait !
