Fallen Angels

Red hair, green eyes
legs that go on for miles
hunting, she waits for her next trick
seducing them with her smiles
John after John she sleeps with them all
they degrade her and abuse her
she feels so small.
Then one day the condom breaks
and she’s feeling awfully ill
so she books some time with the doctor
thinking she’ll just take the morning after pill.
But the doctor thinks,
‘maybe we should run some tests’
now all she can do is hope for the best.
When the results come in
the doctor says, ‘I’m sorry dear,
but I cannot lie,
we’ll do our best, but there’s a
good chance you’ll die.
She sits there and silently cries
about the three small letters that
will take her life.
In the back of her mind,
she can hear god callin,
‘Oh my dear angel, look how you’ve fallen.

Blonde hair, blue eyes
arms black and blue
she was once so innocent,
this life she got lured into.
Now she goes from fix to fix,
just waiting to be high
and when she comes down
she curls up and cries.
One night she sits there and preps up her vein
not thinking this next hit could be her last,
she slides the needle slowly in
then with her last breath she gasps.
Darkness sets in, the last thing she hears is God callin,
‘Oh my dear angel, look how you’ve fallen.’
