A Few Notes
I’ve been reading a lot of diaries out there today. One thing I can say is that I’ve had a lot of really bad experiences in life, and some of these people’s little quibblings over some little difficulty really make me sick.
And then I can say something else. I have lived a cakewalk of a life. Somewhere between the veterans of war and the abused children and the parents of the terminally stupid, my slice of life has begun to look pretty good. Looking back on it all, I can put myself in the same chapter as the people with “little quibblings” because I, like they, have suffered through my own attitude more than anything else.
On another note, for you young women who have boyfriend problems (and there are many of you on OD), I can help you, but you have to act on faith. MOVE ON! I was once the guy you are now dating, and my girlfriend and I just HAD to be together even though it wasn’t working. You are SO YOUNG! You don’t need this! Move on and make yourself happy! It takes time, ay, but to make that executive decision and stick with it takes much less time than wading through all the hurt and the numerous breakups.
My heart bleeds the most profusely for those who don’t really know what the problem in their life is; who go about the days and the nights and the weeks and the months trying to solve a “branch problem.” For example, take our young lady friends. Branch problem: boyfriend flirts with other girls now. Root problem: relationship is over/time to move on. I personally spent three years of my life trying to solve the branch problem here, so I know how drenching these relentless cycles can be. In order to break the cycle, we must think a little deeper, be a little more faithful in making the right choices, and have a little more courage to make A decision, even if it isn’t the RIGHT one.
I’ve left notes where I feel I’ve gained a little wisdom. I thank you all for your candidness.
Love,
Cameron
In that case, I feel honored that you left me a note. 🙂 You managed to squeeze some sort of wisdom out of ME, nah! He he he. Thank you. I especially loved your entries about the (foreign) people, and America. Now take your own advice, and keep posting! Take care.
