I’m Free!
Finally!
Today was my last appointment with the dentist. She repaired my broken front tooth, and cleaned and polished my teeth and said I don’t need to go back again until July. Yippeee!
I am rather proud of myself that I managed to let her do a little bit of drilling to prep the broken tooth without the need for anesthetic, or to bury myself in music from my iPod. I guess I trust her now, huh?
I will take an after picture tomorrow, to compare with the before picture I posted a couple months ago when this all started.
Having the front tooth whole and hale again, feels weird and speaking is something I will need to get a handle on again over the next few days. I no longer need to emphasize the S sound because there’s no gap between my teeth anymore.
It looks great! Just wish my teeth were not so crooked. Hmmm braces at my age?
Here’s a photo I snapped on the way home. I’m going back next week to the same area and I will try and get a better shot of this. This was taken while my car was stopped at traffic lights, so I didn’t have time to set up the shot very well.
It’s actually the traffic light control box and painting them like this is a part of a Government initiative to prevent vandalism. It seems to work, too. Next week, I will be on foot and be able to set up the shot a little better, and also take photos of the other sides of the box.
Stay tuned!
Lol. I’ve never seen 24. I wish I could blame my dream on something but it seems to be completely random. Grats on getting your teeth done so well! I Love their idea on those boxes. It would be nice if our gov would use money for creative and effective purposes like that. *Hugs*

RYN: MANY kids were confused, assuming that this was a continuing attack, and Im sure many kids were traumatized.

Mazel tov on your hale and healthy teeth! This is a good thing because dentistry bills can take a big bite out of your income (sorry!).

I wish vandals were found and penalised severely. There is an area of wall on the way from my place to Minty’s, which was painted with beautiful pictures of people and they looked so life-like it was unreal. Months later, somebody vandalised every single picture, much to my great and everlasting disappointment. They destroyed something that was so beautiful. It makes me SO angry.
