Some people remind me of Slinkies. They aren’t good for much but I can’t help but grin at the thought of them tumbling down the stairs.

I didn’t sleep well last night – I haven’t slept well all week, actually. My eyeballs feel swollen and heavy, almost like they’re full of sand; I have that awful copper taste in my mouth like I’ve been sucking on pennies for days. Thankfully it’s Friday once again and I can get away with a hooded sweatshirt and jeans for workwear.

Oh, and it’s raining again, which really doesn’t make me want to do anything except go home, crawl back in bed and snuggle with my puppy until I can’t sleep anymore. Which would be until next week.

OK, so this first pic … well, I can see where I look a little mom-ish. Mostly I look like my mom, but whatever. I think two of you who read this have met Momma Scissors, and I am sure you’ll agree with me.

Anyway.

I’m so work-avoidant that I just spend 15 minutes taking this picture (yes, in the bathroom, shut it), then cropping and posting it to Photobucket – just so you can see my hairs that I did hardly anything with this morning. And I really don’t think I look like anybody’s mom in this one. Not even my own mother. Gawd.
