the beauty in what i see

People always question the type of music I listen to

And they ask me, what do you see in a band?

And I tell them…

When I look at a band I see…

A person

The drums are a symbol of the heart beating to what it feels

The guitar is the rhythm of the body that expresses what the heart truly wants

The bass is the soul that is truly dark, yet bright as the moon in the midnight sky

And the voice is to express what the body should never tell

so one day stop!

Look at a band

And tell me if you see what I see

This is an amazingly insightful analogy. It makes perfect sense and seems so obvious when you explain it, but I had never thought about it before. It makes sense though. Maybe that’s why I make all my own music alone.

no one could see as much beauty in such music as yourself, I hope you never lose your hearing, then again the day such a thing happens the hole world will stop
