Don’t Go to Grad School

The same guy who a few weeks ago said that he’d rather submit jobs to the supercomputer than go on dates told me just now that he had a plan when he first got here to go to Dallas and Houston once a month to meet women. The first reason, he said, is that there are a lot more Koreans in those places than here. That’s reasonable. The second is what threw me for a loop. He said that he would prefer to find a woman that he only had to see once a month or so because he’s busy. Yes. He would prefer a long distance relationship specifically because they take up less valuable research time.
