A quickie!

Minds out of the gutter people!

I have had hardly any spare time the last couple of weeks – I have been popping onto fb but not really having time to do much so all my games have gone to pot 🙁  I’ve been able to read and note on a few entries here – but never time to write.  Right now hubby, is driving home (he rang and told me this as he’s been working away and I had no idea what time he would be home) Dinner is cooking, so thought I’d write a quick note. Will try and write a little more later.

We are off to france on friday night so I have all the pre holiday crap to go through.  Stressed out to the max,and right now would much prefer to just stay in the house on my own while they all go on without me. Course, once I am there I will be ok.  We are going to stay in our friends house just north of Boardeaux. Been there before – it’s gorgeous, right in the middle of nowhere, lovely and peaceful. It will be great if the weather is good as there is a pool so the kids will be entertained. However the weather there this week has been worse than it’s been in the UK, so it could all go horribly wrong. We are going with our friends, so if nothing else it will be great to spend some quality time with them. It’s a long old drive down there though, and just really hoping as it’s all going to be motorway driving that my daughter won’t be travel sick. But this time I am going prepared, just in case!  My 1 gripe is that while I am there I will have no internet access – at all! OMG  I’m actually seriously upset about this lol. Hubby isn’t prepared to pay up for the extra cover while we are there. We will be taking an old mobile phone with us – ‘just in case’ and mainly so his bloody parents can still check up on us. For fucks sake we can’t even escape them when we are on holiday – annoys the hell out of me. Why the hell can’t he even go 1 week without contacting them grrrrrrrr.

Anyway, better get on with dinner – back later x
