Finally have some time to write. I’ve been popping here and managing to read and note a little, but not had much time for writing.

The bug was quite nasty that we all had and although I had to least pukage (tmi sorry!) it took me longer to get back to ‘normal’.  Was lacking energy for most of last week, and my appetite still isn’t what it was. which is probably not a bad thing.  Then just as I was feeling a little better had a particularly bad ”monthly’ (sorry again for the TMI)  Add that to the anniversary of my dad’s passing and yeah have to say it hasn’t been the best few weeks.  But then how can I write and moan when there are so many people going through so much worse right now. Answer – stop moaning you stupid old cow lol.  See I am now talking to myself online ……….

Anyway, the weekend in Wales went ok all in all. My sister spent a lot of time moaning about her so called best friend (the girl who she chose as her bridesmaid – I’m not bitter in any way at all!)  They have basically fallen out, but as my sister is her boss, she has to be very careful. The friend knows all about employment laws and regulations so she is doing everything right so my sister has no call to dismiss her. But my sister is concerned as she thinks she may be selling or supplyilng drugs. So to cut a long story short, I was getting the details about everything that was happening with that.  I did manage to get a little talk time with mum on her own while we prepared veg for dinner.

I don’t really have a lot to add right now. I’m increasing my obsession with the gorgeous Mr Renner *sigh* I actually made it to the cinema on saturday to see ‘Hansel and ‘Gretal’ in 3D – only the 2nd time I have seen a 3D film – the first being toy story 3! And it was the first time I have been to see a film that I wanted to go see (a grown up film) for a long long time!  My son did actually come with me, I think he was worried about me going there on my own rather than he wanted to see the film. He was, however quite happy with 1 scene when he got to see a female naked bottom hehe (he’s 15 btw) Anyway, yes, loved the film. it was funny, full of blood guts and gore and most importantly Jeremy Renner – in 3D – happy days and I needed the happy fix!

I’m also finally getting round to doing the medication training I was given a while back. Most of it is irrelivant to me as it is more to do with handling medication in a care home environment, so I am actually going to have to go into the home sometime and plough through all their records for some of the work in the assignment.  I have also been told that I am being enrollened in a distance learning course for ‘end of life care’ hmm again not something I really look forward to, but I guess it’s something else to put on the cv.

Well my lads are watching the man utd v real madrid match – there has been an unfair sending off, apparently *shrugs*  gonna grab a glass of wine and read my book. it’s one mum lent/loaned to me and it’s just getting to the exciting conclusion – just hope it’s a happy ending.

Love and blessings
